Import Executive.
Job Description
We are a leading company in the agriculture sector in Sri Lanka , Currently we are looking for committed , energetic and self – motivated candidates with positive attitudes to fill the below position;
The successful candidates should have the following attributes;
- Minimum of 05 years of experience in import preferably in the agrochemical industry
- Sound knowledge of latest import regulations , ensuring that all shipments comply with both international and local regulation
- Ability to prepare and submit import documentation , including customs declarations , import permits and invoices
- Capable of liaising with shipping agents and wharf officials to coordinate shipments and resolve any delivery issues
- Maintain strong relationships with international suppliers and negotiate favorable terms and conditions for imports
- Contribute toward cost control by ensuring that import duties, and logistics costs are controlled
- Professional qualification in Supply chain management will be an added qualification
- Proficiency in Micro Soft Office packages (Excel , Word , etc…)
- Good working knowledge in English
