Job Description;

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Programmer to assist in migrating an existing Visual Basic 6 application to VB . Net  focusing on integration with Crystal Reports 8.5 and working within an SQL environment 

Key Responsibilities;
  • Convert and refactor existing VB6 code and Crystal Reports 8.5 VB . NET ensuring compatibility and efficiency 
  • Document conversion process 
Requirements;
  • Strong understanding and experience in both VB6 and VB. Net frameworks 
  • Solid understanding of Crystal reports 8.5 and experience migrating reports from Crystal reports 8.5 to a VB. net compatible version 
  • Familiarity with database system and integration (SQL server) 
Desirable Qualifications;
  • Experience with other NET languages (C#, ASP , NET , etc)
  • Experience with VB. NET – based reporting tools (e.g Crystal report for . NET or alternative solutions)
  • Knowledge of software migration best practices
