We are looking for an ambitious , detail – oriented professional to drive impactful projects with excellence , efficiency , and sustainability , As Assistant General Manager – Civil Engineering , you will oversee key projects , ensuring timely , budget – friendly delivery to top industry standards , while collaborating with consultants , architects and regulatory bodies;

Key Responsibilities;
  • Lead a diverse team and oversee civil engineering projects , ensuring timely and high – quality completion 
  • Collaborate with consultants , architects , contractors and government authorities (CEA, UDA, BOI , etc…) to meet regulatory and project requirements 
  • Manage project budgets and cost strategically to enhance and profitability 
  • Oversee procurement process , including guarantees and insurance coverage where necessary 
  • Ensure compliance with occupational health and safety standards , creating a safe and efficient work environment 
Qualifications & Competencies;
  • A Bachelor`s degree in Civil Engineering from a recognized university 
  • Charted Engineer (CEng) qualification preferred
  • A minimum of  05 years of experience in civil engineering , with a proven track record in construction project management 
  • Strong expertise in MS Project & AutoCAD 
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in Sinhala and English 
  • A proactive and detail – oriented professional with exceptional organizational and teamwork skills 
  • The ability to manage multiple projects in a fast – paced environment and deliver under pressure
