Responsibilities;
- Conduct site assessments and feasibility studies for solar power projects
- Design solar PV systems , including layout , electrical schematics and component selection
- Oversee project execution from conception to commissioning , ensuring timelines and budgets are met
- Monitor contractors , installation and testing of solar PV systems
- Resolve technical challenges and provide on – site engineering support
- Review / preparation of technical specification , BOQ (Bill of Quantities) and tender documents
- Ensure adherence to safety standards and grid interconnection requirements
- Liaise with clients , utilities , government agencies and third – party consultants
- Prepare project reports , progress update , and documentation for approvals
Qualifications;
- Bachelor`s degree in Electrical Engineering , Renewable Energy , Mechanical Engineering or related field Master ‘ s degree is a plus
- 03+ years in solar power project design / execution , Experience with rooftop , ground – mounted , or utility scale solar projects preferred
- Knowledge of electrical systems , inverters , batteries and grid integration
- Familiarity with relevant codes (NEC , IEEE , UL)
- Strong problem solving , communication and project management abilities
