Job Description
Lankem Minerals Ltd is a leading manufacturer of Single Super Phosphate (SSP) granules from ERP , serving the agriculture sector of SRI Lanka , We are looking for a committed and experienced professionals to take up the role of Factory Manager at our Oyamaduwa Plant;
Candidates Profile;
- Male , aged between 40 and 50 years
- Holds an Engineering Degree from a recognized university or an equivalent professional qualification
- Prior experience (minimum 10 years ) in a manufacturing or industrial environment will be a distinct advantage
- Strong leadership , organizational and operational management capabilities
- Must be willing to reside close to the factory
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to build and maintain a good rapport with the local village community
Key Responsibilities;
- Manage the day – to – day operations of the factory , ensuring efficiency , safety and product quality
- Lead , train and motive plant staff to meet production goals
- Coordinate with internal department to align with the company`s strategic objectives
- Ensure all operations are compliant with relavant safety , environmental and statutory regulations
- Act as the company`s representative within the local community , fostering positive relationships with the villagers and maintaining a strong community presence
