Job Description

RESPONSIBILITIES;
    • Develop and implement financial strategies that align with the company`s Long term goals 
    • Ensure the timely and accurate preparation of financial statements , reports and budgets 
    • Identify and manage financial risks , including those related to currency , credits and liquidity 
    • Develop and implement internal controls to safeguard company assets
    • Ensure compliance with financial regulation and standards 
    • Lead , mentor and develop the financial team , fostering a culture of high performance  
    • Manage relationships with banks , auditors , investors and other financial stakeholders 
    • Collaborating with other departments to optimize financial performance and achieve organizational goals
PROFILE;
  • Professional membership in ICASL / ACCA / CIMA or other equivalent qualification 
  • A minimum of 04 years managerial level ( Accounting / Finance ) experience in mercantile sector 
  • Solid understanding of business operations and stakeholder management skills 
  • Strong leadership and team management skills 
  • Excellent financial acumen and analytical skills 
  • Proficient in Financial software and Microsoft Office 
  • Strong communication and presentation skills 
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
