Qualifications & Requirements;
  • A Bachelor`s degree in journalism , mass communications by a recognized institution with 2+ years of experience as a Journalist or Reporter
    • OR 
  • A diploma in journalism , mass communication by a recognized institution with 05 years of experience as a journalist or reporter 
    • OR
  • Passed GCE A/L examination in any stream with 8+ years of experience as a journalist or Reporter 
  • Fluency and strong writing and news rewriting skills 
  • A working knowledge of Sinhala / English will be an advantage 
  • Having exposure in working for a reputed Newspaper company 
  • Should have a keen understanding of current events and news , both local and foreign 
  • Computer literacy (MS Word and Office packages)
    • Age limit – Below 40 years
