Key Responsibilities;
- Develop and implement a comprehensive risk management framework
- Identify , assess and monitor risks across all business operations , including , financial , operational and compliance risks
- Ensure the organization adheres to regulatory requirements and risk – related guidelines issues by the insurance regulatory Commission of Sri Lanka (IRCSL) and other relevant authorities
- Conduct regular risk assessment and recommend mitigation strategies
- Collaborate with key stakeholder to integrate risk management into strategic decision – making
- Prepare risk reports and dashboards for senior management and the risk management committee
- Lead the development of business continuity plans and ensure readiness for crisis situation
Qualifications & Experience;
- A Bachelor`s degree in Risk management , Finance , Accounting or a related field (a postgraduate qualifications is preferred)
- A professional qualification such as FRM , or equivalent is an added advantage
- A minimum of 05 years of experience in risk management , preferably in the insurance or financial service sector
- Strong knowledge of regulatory requirement and risk frameworks related to the insurance industry
- Excellent analytical , problem solving and decision – making skills
- Exceptional communication and stakeholder management abilities
