A leading International school offering a full spectrum of educational programs for students from Kindergarten to Advanced Level ( both local & Cambridge syllabus ) is looking for a result – oriented person for the above vacancy
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES;
( The candidate should have a proven track record with strong leadership skills and be result oriented )
- Preparation of a Strategic plan for the school covering academic and non – academic activities
- Ensuring the targets set for academic , developmental and extra curricular activities in the Strategic plan are met within given time lines
- Laying down objective operational procedures for the smooth management of the school , these should cover areas such as financial management , the selection of student leaders , student discipline and other relevant areas
- Maintaining cordial relationships with all stakeholders , teachers , parents and curriculum providers
- Ensuring overall supervision of the operations of the school and submitting quarterly progress reports to the Board of Directors
Qualifications;
- Applicant must be between 40 and 60 years of age
- A Master`s Degree in Education is preferred or a Bachelor’s Degree in Education or an equivalent field from a university recognized by the UGC
- A minimum of 10 years of teaching experience , including 05 years in an administrative capacity as a Principal or Deputy principal in a reputed National or International educational institution in Sri Lanka or overseas
- High level of level of verbal and written communication skills in the English language
