About this opportunity
Operational Management: Oversee daily floor operations, open and close the facility, manage cash drawers, and ensure compliance with company policies and safety standards.
Team Leadership & Development: Assist with onboarding, training, and scheduling staff. Coach team members to meet sales targets and performance metrics.
Customer Experience: Handle customer inquiries, resolve escalated complaints, and maintain high visual presentation standards throughout the establishment.
Inventory & Stock Control: Track stock levels, assist with inventory audits, manage reordering, and minimize shrinkage or product loss.
Administrative Support: Prepare daily or weekly operational reports, manage payroll records, and coordinate with vendors or suppliers.
What we’re looking for
Possesses a qualification in the manufacturing from the National Institute of Plantation Management or a relevent institute.
Possesses a minimum of 2-3 years of experience in a similar capacity in the plantation sector.
Strong understanding of replanting and related agricultural practices.
Fair knowledge of Orthodox rotorvane manufacturing.
Fluency in the three main languages (Sinhala,English&Tamil)and/or possessing a NIPM qualificatio in language proficiency would be an added advantage.
Any other job-related professional qualification will be a definite advantage.
Exposure to the implementation of Certifications such as ISO 22000,HACCP, and Rainforest Fairtrade.
