What we’re looking for
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Raise O/L and A/L results – priority on English, Mathematics and Science
Grow and strengthen the English-medium stream
Lead sports, clubs, societies and student wellbeing
School discipline, staff, timetables and student affairs
Staff appraisal, training and development
Work closely with parents and the Board of Directors
Drive digital learning and modern teaching methods
REQUIREMENTS
Degree (PGDE or teaching qualification preferred)
At least 5 years as Principal or Deputy Principal of a large secondary school
Proven O/L and A/L results and examination administration
Fluent in Sinhala and English; bilingual-medium experience
Confident with digital and modern teaching methods
Integrity and strong leadership – a role model for students and staff
Retired Principals with a strong leadership record are welcome to apply
